Quartz Surfaces

Quartz is one of the most common materials in the Earth’s crust. Formed into slabs under carefully controlled conditions in the Bretonstone process, our quartz surfaces offer unique advantages for use in countertops or surface products. By starting with quartz crystals that are found in the ‘waste soil’ from nearly every quarry and mine around the world, these slabs have a much smaller ecological footprint than natural stone countertops and surface materials.

Quartz surfaces are uniformly hard, dense and non-porous. These qualities result in countertops that are stronger than natural stone and inherently anti-bacterial. Quartz countertops do not require periodic sealing in the same way that some forms of natural stone do. Quartz countertops are also backed by longterm manufacturer’s warranties, meaning that you can rest assured knowing that you’ll be able to enjoy your investment for years to come.
